Lernorganisation	In order to pass this course each student has to (1) give a presentation of 30 minutes about his/her assigned topic with additional 10 minutes of questions and answers, (2) submit a term paper on his/her topic of 4000-6000 words, (3) attend the seminar sessions regularly and participate actively (e.g. by asking questions...).

Kommentar/Beschreibung

The seminar 'Math, Music and Emotion' tries to combine dierent formal/mathematical descriptions of music with
the knowledge and/or hypotheses we have about the emotional reactions our brains produce when listening to certain pieces of music. We will also try to look into computational methods that try to classify or label music with its emotional content.
