| Voraussetzungen |
A basic familiarity with the methods of linear algebra and function analysis (as taught e.g. in the lecture 'Mathematik für Anwender' by Prof. Dr. Römer) is necessary for most of the seminar topics. Prof. Dr. Hertzbergs Lecture 'Robotics' is NOT a necessary preliminary to this course, because it deals with robotic arms and hands, which are not covered by the lecture. |
| Lernorganisation |
In order to pass this course each student has to (1) give a presentation of 30 minutes about his/her assigned topic with additional 10 minutes of questions and answers, (2) submit a term paper on his/her topic of 4000-6000 words, (3) attend the seminar sessions regularly and participate actively (e.g. by asking questions...). A detailed list of the available seminar topics can be found in the 'Documents' section of the stud.IP pages for this seminar. |
