Kommentar/Beschreibung

This seminar treats mainly the chapters of Artificial Neural Networks that can not be covered by the Machine Learning Course. In the first few sessions, there will be some repetition of the Machine Learning Course (Hebbian learning, multilayer perceptrons, self-organizing maps), thus, the seminar can be also visited stand alone (without Machine Learning). Then we will proceed to topics such as Support Vector Machines, Recurrent Neural Networks, Temporal Processing, Neurodynamics and also background topics such as information theory and stochastic machines. The seminar will be mainly based on the book by Simon Haykin. Math will be repeated or introduced where necessary.
